The Argentine national blind football team, also known as 'Los Murciélagos', began its participation in the Copa Tango 2025, held in Buenos Aires, with a 1-0 victory over Germany in the first group stage match.
The world champions' only goal was scored in the second half by Misiones native Mario Ríos, a River Plate player. Later, in the second match played on Tuesday, France defeated Thailand by the same score, with a goal from Frédéric Villeroux.
The Copa Tango continues this Wednesday, November 19, with two matches: first, at 14:45, France vs. Germany. At 17:00, 'Los Murciélagos' will return to the field to face Thailand.
All matches are held at the Cenard (Miguel Sánchez 1050, CABA), with free admission, and are broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the Argentine Federation of Sports for the Blind (FADeC).
